The hardware list specifies six wood screws, six drywall anchors, eight ST4x12 metal screws, one cover plate, one strain relief, two cord corners and two cord covers. Birch wood logs are not included with the NEFVC32H; the manual specifies them for NEFVC38H only.
A suitable 120V, 15-amp grounded circuit and properly supported mounting location are required. No gas fuel selection or combustion vent system is needed. Hardwiring must follow the electrical installation instructions. Do not use an extension cord or cover the heater air openings.
For partial recessing, use the model-specific opening above and the mounting-bracket details on manual page 14. The specified minimum recess depth is 3 1/2 inches. Keep a 2-inch gap below a mantel to allow bracket access and appliance removal. The wall-mount instructions require at least 36 inches from curtains, furniture, bedding and similar combustible materials. Do not interpret the enclosure clearances as permission to obstruct heater outlets. Install indoors in a location not prone to moisture.
