This policy explains payment processing, taxes, pricing corrections, manufacturer advertised pricing, Special Offers, promotions, and the Best Price Guarantee.
Scope
This policy explains payment authorization, displayed prices, taxes, pricing errors, Special Offers, coupons, promotions, and the Best Price Guarantee. It supplements the Terms of Service and Sale.
Currency and payment methods
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may change. Payment services may be provided by third parties with their own terms and privacy notices.
Authorization and capture
Submitting an order authorizes us and our payment providers to verify the payment method and process permitted charges. A pending authorization is not necessarily a completed charge. Depending on the method and fulfillment process, funds may be authorized at order placement and captured when the order is accepted, released, or shipped.
We may request identity, address, or payment verification before accepting an order. We do not accept instructions to misstate transaction details or avoid lawful payment, tax, or fraud controls.
Sales and use tax
We collect sales or similar transaction taxes when required based on the product, delivery destination, exemptions, and applicable law. If we do not collect a tax that is legally due, the purchaser may be responsible for use tax or another obligation. A valid exemption certificate must be accepted before an exemption is applied. Tax estimates may change if the address, products, or law changes.
Pricing and catalog errors
We may correct typographical, catalog, configuration, availability, or pricing errors before order acceptance. If a material error affects an order, we will notify you and offer the lawful options, which may include confirming the corrected price or cancelling the affected item for a refund. We will not charge a higher corrected price without your agreement.
Manufacturer advertised pricing and Special Offers
Some manufacturers regulate publicly advertised prices. A product page may show MSRP, minimum advertised price, “Special Offer Available,” or another compliant message. When eligible, a reduced price or promotion may appear after required options are selected, in the cart, during checkout, or through an authorized quote.
A configured product price may include required components, selected options, accessories, or venting. Review every line item, model, fuel type, finish, quantity, and discount before ordering. A promotion does not establish compatibility or make an optional component required or approved.
Coupons and promotions
- Promotions apply during the stated period and while eligible inventory or funding remains available.
- Exclusions, minimum purchase, brand restrictions, product restrictions, customer limits, and geographic restrictions may apply.
- Unless expressly stated, offers cannot be combined, stacked, exchanged for cash, applied to prior purchases, or used for taxes, shipping, services, gift certificates, or excluded items.
- If part of a discounted bundle is returned, the refund may be recalculated to reflect the price of items kept, as permitted by the offer and applicable law.
- We may cancel or correct an offer affected by fraud, abuse, technical error, or unauthorized publication, subject to applicable law.
Best Price Guarantee
When a product is expressly marked “Best Price Guarantee,” United Fireplaces will match an eligible lower total delivered price from an authorized U.S. retailer for the identical new product, subject to the conditions below. Submit the request before purchase or within 7 calendar days after purchase.
- The competitor must be authorized by the manufacturer to sell the product online and able to deliver it to the same address.
- The product must be the identical model, fuel type, size, finish, configuration, components, condition, warranty, and quantity, and must be in stock and available for prompt purchase.
- Comparison is based on the total delivered price after required components, coupons, shipping, handling, and other mandatory charges, before tax.
- Marketplace, auction, liquidation, closeout, clearance, open-box, scratch-and-dent, used, refurbished, membership, employee, wholesale, trade, financing, rebate, bid, typographical-error, and unverifiable offers are excluded.
- Manufacturer restrictions and applicable law control. We may request a live public link, written quote, and proof of availability.
If an approved post-purchase match applies, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method. The guarantee does not require us to match a price that would violate law or a valid manufacturer restriction.
Refunds payment disputes and fraud prevention
Refunds are issued according to the Returns Cancellations Damage and Refunds Policy and ordinarily return to the original payment method. Contact us promptly to resolve a billing concern. We may preserve and provide transaction records when responding to a payment dispute, fraud investigation, or legal request.
