Designed for an in-wall installation, including elevated placement where the manual’s framing and clearances are met. Decorative fronts and interior liners are optional finishing choices.
The factory burner and protective screens are part of the fireplace. Keep the required screens and glass deflectors installed as directed by the exact model manual.
Provide an approved gas connection, adequate combustion and ventilation air, required noncombustible finishing materials and the electrical supply specified for the selected control and lighting package. No chimney or exhaust vent is used. This is supplemental indoor heat, not primary whole-house heat.
5 square feet of approved crushed glass is required. Each box covers one square foot. Clear Frost DG1CLF is recommended; DG1BKP Black Polished, DG1BUC Blue Clear, DG1BCR Copper Reflective and DG1BZR Bronze Reflective are also listed. Glass colors may be mixed. Decorative droplets may be mixed in as accents but cannot replace the required crushed glass.
