FBB5 is the optional single-speed blower kit listed in the manufacturer manual for the VFP36SB2E(L,F)-4 see-through and VFP36PB2E(L,F)-4 peninsula vent-free fireboxes. This listing is the accessory; the firebox and gas log system are sold separately.
The optional blower uses a heat-activated fan control: it starts as the firebox warms and stops as it cools. The manual notes that a cold start can take approximately 5–20 minutes depending on the installation and log-set operation. Its wiring diagram specifies a 110-volt AC junction box. Route wiring away from the blower wheel, disconnect electrical power for service, and keep the air path clean. The motor has no oiling holes and must not be oiled.
