The Napoleon TLV74LN2 is a 74-inch Tall Linear Vector gas fireplace with Luminous Log technology and a see-through design for viewing from two sides. This indoor built-in model uses natural gas and electronic ignition. Choose a separately sold model-specific Luminous burner/log kit to complete the appliance. Product photography shows a configured fireplace with separately selected logs.

Included components

The selected Luminous burner/log kit and installation-specific venting are purchased separately.

Required components

Choose one 74-inch Luminous kit: BLKTLV74L birch, DLKTLV74L driftwood or OLKTLV74L oak. The manufacturer lists these as mandatory alternatives; do not substitute a non-L kit. Each listed kit supplies its specified logs, rocks, glowing embers, charcoal, shale, glass and vermiculite. A complete approved top direct-vent system with 5-inch exhaust and 8-inch air intake, approved termination, gas supply and electrical installation are also necessary. Follow the exact installation manual and the selected log kit's placement leaflet.

Optional accessories

FTTLV74 four-sided black finishing trim and W660-0160 wall control are optional. Listed heat-management choices include LHAD, Dynamic Heat Control Linear DHCL2, Dynamic Heat Control Plus and Ducted Heat Management. If choosing Dynamic Heat Control Linear for this see-through model, the pricebook specifies two kits. This optional package does not make heat management a mandatory base purchase. Do not combine the mutually exclusive LHAD, DHC Linear and Ducted Heat Management arrangements. Dynamic Heat Control Plus requires its blower kit together with the appropriate exterior or hot-air-grille kit. Optional propane conversion uses W175-0866 and requires rigid or approved power venting. This listing remains the natural gas model.

Installation and safety notes

Installation and servicing must be performed by a qualified professional following the exact manufacturer installation manual and applicable codes. Do not use nominal size or viewing dimensions as framing dimensions. Maintain the specified enclosure ventilation, clearances and approved vent arrangement. Keep furniture and other combustible materials clear of the hot glass. Do not operate with damaged or removed fixed glass, substitute burner media, burn solid fuel or obstruct burner ports. Follow the model-specific log-placement instructions. Arrange periodic cleaning and annual professional inspection. Turn off gas and power and allow the appliance to cool before servicing.

Warranty summary

Napoleon's President's Lifetime Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser under its authorized-dealer, installation and maintenance conditions. Eligible lifetime components have repair or replacement coverage during the first ten years and the stated reduced-price replacement terms thereafter. Electrical and wearable components and eligible repair labor have first-year coverage. Consult the owner's manual for covered parts, exclusions and claim requirements.
