Electrical and installation requirements

• 120V AC operation up to 1,450W, or correctly hardwired 240V AC operation up to 2,800W. A dedicated 15-amp grounded circuit is required.
• Wall-mounted, recessed or mantel installation must follow the exact model instructions. Keep at least 8 inches from the top of the appliance to the mantel and at least 36 inches from the front to furniture, curtains, bedding and similar combustible materials.
• Enclosure clearances are 0 inches at the bottom, sides and back; the top may have 0-inch clearance when recessed, while the 8-inch mantel clearance still applies. Do not obstruct heater openings.
• Do not use an extension cord. Hardwiring and grounding must comply with the installation manual and applicable electrical codes.
• The front glass must be installed for operation. A gas connection and combustion venting are not applicable to this electric appliance.
