The Basic and Full Load versions have different included controls and must not be treated as identical packages.
Full Load SIT electronic ignition with multifunction remote, remote flame adjustment, variable-speed fans, lighting and battery backup. The linear burner, protective screen and supplied fireglass establish the base flame presentation. Install the supplied glass in a single layer over the burner; additional colors and log arrangements are optional.

Provide the correct gas supply, electrical connection, approved direct-vent route and termination, required protective screen, and compliant framing and finishing. Venting is required; a universal assortment of pipe is not a complete installation plan. The installer must select the exact permitted pipe system, elbows, firestops, shields and termination for the planned route.
The 36-inch model uses the optional LGS76 driftwood log kit; the 48-inch model uses LGS77. Optional logs are placed over the installed base media according to the exact model diagram. They do not replace the supplied base fireglass.
Heat-management and trim accessories are installation-specific options. Their use changes the applicable framing, finishing or fan instructions only where the manual explicitly permits it. A natural-gas appliance does not need a fuel-conversion kit unless it is being converted to propane. For that conversion, use the exact model-specific Montigo kit and a qualified gas fitter; never substitute another model's kit.
For DRL36 and DRL48, the conventional vent chart permits a maximum combined vertical and horizontal run of 34 feet, subject to the chart, elbow deductions and permitted rise/run combinations. This does not mean every 34-foot route is allowed. Maintain all clearances to combustibles and service access. Vinyl and other heat-sensitive flooring may require the raised-appliance or noncombustible-hearth arrangements illustrated by the manufacturer. Have the installer confirm the exact appliance and wall finish before building the enclosure.
A qualified professional should inspect and service the appliance at least annually. Reinstall the safety screen after service and allow the glass to cool before cleaning. Installation must follow the manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.
