The refractory selection is necessary to complete this appliance. Optional gas-log operation requires a complete matching burner and log set: match the tier and size, then select the correct burner fuel. A log set alone is not an operating gas system.
Use 14-inch Dura-Vent DuraChimney II with 14DCA-IS attic insulation shield, 14DCA-RRS roof radiation shields and 14DCA-CTC chase top collar. Both outside-air connections must be installed using 6-inch UL181 Class 0 or 1 duct. ID6 and UD6 each supply two 42-inch sections; order sufficient length for both sides. Not approved in Canada. Drainage pan is needed on wood surfaces. Provide the manual-specified hearth extension and non-combustible finish.
