Included features
The family manual identifies two slide-out glass shelves, a flip shelf for tall bottles, a crisper bin and glass cover, a five-can holder, a fixed door shelf that accommodates two-liter bottles, interior temperature control/light, a pair of keys and two adjustable front leveling legs. The selected model includes its specified door assembly. Contents shown in lifestyle photography, an enclosure and electrical installation are not included.
Installation and ventilation
The refrigerator supports freestanding or recessed installation. The manufacturer's recommended air clearances are 3/4 inch at each side, 2 inches above and 2 inches behind. Choose a hard, level location away from direct sunlight and heat-producing equipment. Correct unevenness with the front leveling legs. The manual states that this refrigerator is not designed for ambient temperatures below 55 degrees Fahrenheit and should not be installed in an uninsulated or unheated location. The official product page requires an enclosure when used outdoors; an enclosure does not remove the temperature and airflow requirements.
Connect to a properly wired grounded three-wire 115 VAC GFCI receptacle with a weatherproof in-use cover, rated for a 15-amp minimum circuit. Keep the grounding pin intact; never adapt the plug to a two-prong outlet. Avoid extension cords. If one is necessary, the manual requires a correctly rated grounded three-wire cord approved for outdoor use. Installation must follow the manufacturer manual, the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes.
Operation
The temperature dial has seven settings plus zero: seven is coldest, one is warmest, and zero stops cooling without disconnecting electrical power. Start at setting four and allow 24 hours before adjusting. If transported horizontally or tilted, wait 24 hours before plugging in. Do not obstruct internal air circulation or line wire shelving with foil or paper. Keep door openings brief and check the gasket seal.
Care and safety
Disconnect power before cleaning or service. Clean the interior periodically with a mild baking-soda solution, rinse and dry; avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives. Clean door gaskets every three months and maintain their seal. Wipe applicable stainless surfaces with the grain. The refrigerant is flammable: do not puncture tubing or use metal tools to defrost. Qualified technicians must perform repairs. Move the refrigerator upright and secure its door. Follow the manual's child-entrapment precautions when disposing of an old appliance.
Warranty
The current family manual states a one-year warranty for Fire Magic electric accessories from purchase. Coverage is subject to the original purchaser's proof of purchase, proper installation, maintenance and residential-use terms in the United States or Canada. Commercial or multi-user installations have separate terms. Read the full warranty for exclusions and claim procedures.
