A 15-amp, 120-volt circuit is required. The manufacturer prefers a dedicated circuit; one is required if regular breaker trips or blown fuses occur when the heater operates. Surface, partial-recess and flush mounting are listed options, with plug-in or hardwired electrical connection as instructed.

For surface mounting, secure the unit to at least two wall studs. Keep the fireplace top at least 4 inches from the ceiling and prevent contact with building insulation or vapor barriers. Choose a dry location away from drapes and high traffic, and follow all model-specific clearances and electrical requirements.
Face dimensions are not recess dimensions. Follow the diagram for the selected mounting method, grounding and hardwiring instructions, and applicable electrical codes. Keep intake and exhaust openings unobstructed.
