Professional installation is required. The North American manual specifies an 80 mm flue connection and a 3-inch Type L or PL vent system listed to UL 641 or ULC S609. Outside combustion air is mandatory, with a minimum 60 mm connection. A starting collar is required by the manual. Installation components are not included in the appliance price.
The manual supports a dry-contact external thermostat connection installed by qualified personnel. Use the supplied power cord and a grounded supply. Follow the appliance label and full manual for clearances, floor protection and vent routing.
