The Napoleon GL24NE Fiberglow 24 is a complete vented natural gas log-and-burner set for a suitable existing solid-fuel fireplace. Electronic ignition, adjustable flame and realistic PHAZER logs provide a traditional fire appearance without loading wood. It uses the existing fireplace's working chimney and flue; it is not a vent-free log set or a freestanding room appliance.
Model-specific log set and gas burner assembly, cast iron grate and andirons, battery control system, 5 lb of lava rock/cinders and damper clamp. Existing fireplace, chimney and gas-supply installation are not included.
Requires a solid-fuel-burning fireplace made of noncombustible material, a working flue and chimney with verified positive draft, and a suitable natural gas connection. The fireplace cavity must measure at least 28 inches wide × 20 inches high × 14 inches deep. Keep the damper permanently open to at least the opening specified in the manufacturer's chimney-height table. Use the supplied stop if it provides the required opening; otherwise the installer must provide an approved alternative. The control pack uses four AA batteries.
The Napoleon F45 on/off remote with digital screen and BPD D-cell battery pack are optional manufacturer-listed accessories. Propane conversion uses the exact W175-0348 kit and qualified service; this product is supplied for natural gas. A remote is not a required base-product selection.

A qualified installer must clean and inspect the fireplace, chimney and flue before installation, verify proper draft and follow the model's installation manual and applicable codes. Do not install in a bedroom or bathroom. Do not connect to a chimney serving a separate solid-fuel appliance, and do not burn wood in a fireplace fitted with this gas log set. Keep furniture and objects at least 48 inches from the fireplace front. Install each log in its prescribed location to avoid sooting; do not add unapproved media or obstruct burner and pilot openings. Keep the damper opening permanently secured and inspect the appliance and venting at least annually. Do not connect the gas valve or control switch to household line voltage.
Napoleon President's Lifetime Limited Warranty applies to the components and conditions listed in the manual. Covered lifetime parts have repair/replacement provisions during the first ten years and the stated 50%-of-retail replacement provision thereafter. Electrical and wearable parts have first-year coverage. Gas-log-set labor is excluded from the labor warranty; consult the full terms for other exclusions and claim requirements.
