This BUF32 is a firebox enclosure, not a complete gas heater. A separately purchased, listed unvented gas log heater is needed for operation. Maximum permitted heater input is 40,000 BTU/hr; its minimum enclosure dimensions must fit this firebox. Do not burn wood. Install the supplied hood without modifying it or substituting the heater hood.
The AKD outside-air kit, ID4 or UD4 duct and GFK-160VF blower are optional. Follow the selected heater instructions as well as the firebox installation manual and applicable codes.
