Models above 10,000 BTU/h are prohibited in bedrooms and bathrooms; local restrictions may also prohibit lower-input versions. Do not burn solid fuel in a fireplace containing this heater. Installation and service must follow the exact manual and applicable codes.
The original purchaser receives limited lifetime parts coverage for the combustion chamber and heat exchanger, with five years of limited labor. Other covered components have five-year parts and labor coverage, excluding remotes, thermostats, lights, accessories and replacement parts, which have one-year parts coverage. Qualified installation, maintenance and proof of purchase are required; the manual lists exclusions and service conditions.
