The VBR42GCHP is the Empire door set, hammered pewter, arch listed for the 42-inch Breckenridge Select VFS42FB0F vent-free firebox. It is an optional decorative door selection for the matching installation.
If this door set is selected, the current manufacturer price book requires the matching VBY42GBL black arched door frame with barrier. The door set alone is not the complete door-and-frame arrangement. The firebox and separately listed frame are not included with this SKU.
Leaving this optional door set unselected does not create a requirement to purchase it. The firebox must still retain its manufacturer-required screen/guard and hood. Fit is specific to the listed VFS42FB0F arrangement; do not substitute another 42-inch firebox merely because its nominal width matches. Follow the accessory assembly instructions and firebox clearances, maintaining access to controls and keeping combustion-air passages open.
Breckenridge Select installation and owner manual covers the firebox safety provisions and optional finishing equipment. The July 1, 2026 Empire price book, Select 42 section, identifies this door and its VBY42GBL frame requirement. Installation must follow manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.
Request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery for eligible new, unused, unassembled and uninstalled items in original packaging. Written authorization is required. Read the Returns Policy for conditions, fees and exclusions.
