The VBS36SBL is an Empire steel frame, ez attach, black listed for the Breckenridge Deluxe 36 vent-free firebox family. It provides the documented finishing or interior option for the matching VFD36FB appliance.
This steel finishing frame is optional. Match the exact firebox model and flush/louvered configuration documented for the accessory. It does not replace a door frame required for a selected decorative-door package, a required hood, or the firebox screen.
Compatibility depends on the exact firebox series and configuration, not nominal width alone. Follow the accessory instructions and firebox manual, maintain all combustible-material clearances and provide access to controls and service components. Do not obstruct the front opening or combustion and ventilation air passages. Restore any screen or guard removed for service before operating the firebox. Installation must follow the manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.
Breckenridge Deluxe installation and owner manual covers the firebox, required hood/screen provisions and optional finishing accessories. The July 1, 2026 manufacturer price book lists this exact SKU in the Deluxe 36 family and provides the documented door/frame relationships where applicable.
