The manufacturer packing list identifies the gas burner assembly, masonry and sheet-metal anchoring screws, and damper clamp. Remote controls are optional for the millivolt model. For optional full media coverage, the manual recommends 2 kits of approved DG1BUC, DG1BKP or DG1CLF glass. These coverage quantities do not make decorative glass a mandatory burner component. Keep glass outside the burner opening, away from the flame, gas valve and air passages.
Install only in a suitable solid-fuel masonry fireplace, compatible UL 127 factory-built fireplace or listed ventless enclosure permitted by the manual. Do not use a factory-built fireplace that prohibits unvented gas appliances. Vent-free use is supplemental room heating and requires sufficient room air.
