Included: the model-specific 5-piece log arrangement identified in the manufacturer parts table. Required separately: the exact approved burner assembly, correctly sized fireplace or firebox, and fuel/control configuration specified in that burner’s instructions. Optional: approved glowing-ember material may be used only in the prescribed positions and quantity. Platinum Bright Embers replace an equal amount of standard embers rather than increasing the total. Decorative lava rock and small wood pieces belong on the fireplace floor, never on the burner.
Log placement is essential to correct combustion. Each log must sit firmly on the designated locating pins or supports shown in the exact model instructions. Do not rearrange the stack, add unapproved log pieces or obstruct burner air passages. Wear gloves when handling the logs. Keep glass fireplace doors open during operation and prevent fans or drafts from disturbing the flame.
The instructions cover approved vented and unvented installations subject to the selected burner and local rules. Canadian installations must be vented.
