The DT18PB is the optional polished black decorative top cover specified for Empire VFRL18 / VFIL18 / VFRL1810 Loft burners. It changes the exposed finish of the matching burner assembly while retaining its approved flame and air openings.
The manufacturer permits the Loft burner to operate with or without its decorative accessory options. This cover is not a mandatory burner component. Choose the cover listed for the exact burner size and single-sided or multi-sided configuration.
Install the decorative cover after the burner has been installed, secured and leak-tested. Place it over the matching burner top and secure the side tabs as illustrated in the manual. Preserve access to the controls and keep the burner opening and air passages unobstructed. If approved decorative glass is also chosen, follow the separate glass-placement diagram and keep glass away from the burner flame and gas valve. Installation must follow the manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.
