Installation and safety notes
Adjust framing for interior sheathing and follow the manual for ceiling, mantel, hearth and vent clearances. The supplied screen front is part of the appliance; optional controls and fans are additional choices. Use the approved SLP/SLP-Flex route for top venting or DVP route for rear venting, following the exact vent tables. The installation requires gas and electrical connections. MERC32IN is the natural-gas model; propane operation requires the approved conversion rather than a change to the model label. Installation and service must be performed by qualified personnel. This appliance provides supplemental heat.
Installation and service must follow the manufacturer instructions and applicable codes.
