Product overview

WDR2836-T-BR is the Masonry Brown traditional refractory set listed for the Majestic BILT36 wood-burning fireplace. It is a fireplace component, not an appliance, burner or gas-log set. The Biltmore ships without refractory and requires one complete compatible set; choose one approved finish and pattern for the exact fireplace size.

Installation and safety notes

The installation sequence covers the rear refractory, side refractories and hearth stone. The grate, smoke shield and screen are fireplace parts handled during installation, not additional contents promised with this refractory set. Use the fireplace’s retainers and follow the manual’s panel orientation and gas-knockout instructions. The manufacturer recommends two installers for the hearth stone and refractory installation.

Do not operate the fireplace without the correct refractory installed. Handle the panels carefully and use only manufacturer-approved replacement components. Verify the appliance rating plate before ordering; compatibility here is confirmed for BILT36 and is not a general claim for other 36-inch fireplaces. Installation must follow the appliance documentation and applicable codes.
