Empire 32016 propane-to-natural gas conversion kit

Manufacturer part 32016 converts the listed Tahoe fireplace configurations from propane to natural gas. It is an installation component for a specific fuel change, not a universal conversion kit or an ignition-system upgrade.

Manufacturer-confirmed applications

Before ordering

Check the complete model number, model revision, current fuel and control system on the appliance rating plate against the manufacturer conversion table. Other fireplace sizes, ignition systems and opposite-direction kits are not interchangeable merely because they look similar. No conversion kit is required when the appliance is already configured for the installation’s gas supply.

Installation requirements

A qualified service agency must perform the conversion using the certified kit and its supplied instructions. Verify the gas supply, specified pressures, correct burner setup and safe operation before returning the fireplace to service. Do not improvise or substitute conversion components. This kit does not replace the fireplace, vent system, required protective barrier or other installation components.
