Empire BFPLUGE Plug Kit for EF39 Electric Fireplace

The BFPLUGE is the manufacturer-listed kit for converting the EF39 electric fireplace to a plug-in connection. It is an installation accessory for that exact appliance, not a generic extension cord or a replacement fireplace.

Configuration and installation

The EF39 installation guide documents different supply-voltage and heating arrangements. A qualified electrician must confirm the plug kit’s own instructions, the correct appliance wiring and voltage selection, and the required grounded circuit before installation. Do not assume a plug kit preserves a hardwired high-voltage configuration or changes the required circuit protection. Maintain access to the connection and keep all appliance air openings clear.
