Configuration guidance

This extended hood is a conditional finishing choice for thick surrounding materials such as brick or stone. A hood must be used as prescribed by the firebox manual; choose the supplied standard hood or the approved extended hood appropriate to the installation. The extended hood is not an additional universal requirement when the standard approved arrangement is used.

Installation considerations

Compatibility depends on the exact firebox series and configuration, not nominal width alone. Follow the accessory instructions and firebox manual, maintain all combustible-material clearances and provide access to controls and service components. Do not obstruct the front opening or combustion and ventilation air passages. Restore any screen or guard removed for service before operating the firebox. Installation must follow the manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.

Manufacturer documentation

Breckenridge Deluxe installation and owner manual covers the firebox, required hood/screen provisions and optional finishing accessories. The July 1, 2026 manufacturer price book lists this exact SKU in the Deluxe 36 family and provides the documented door/frame relationships where applicable.
