The Ruby installation requires both an approved decorative barrier front and a surround. This listing supplies the surround selection; it does not replace the separate barrier front. Choose the documented surround dimensions to suit the existing fireplace opening. Nominal insert size is not the overall surround size.
Follow the surround instructions for mounting and the reset-switch connection. The manufacturer requires the reset switch to be installed and on for operation, and a 1/2-inch gap must remain as illustrated in the installation manual.
