Required installation provisions

Provide a suitable countertop opening, supporting enclosure and drain connection appropriate to the installation. Installation guidance

Prepare the documented cutout, then carefully lower the unit into place without damaging the preinstalled drain spout. Do not rest the unit on a flat surface before installation. A textured or irregular countertop may require silicone sealer. Assemble the supplied drain kit and route drainage according to the manufacturer instructions and applicable local plumbing codes.

Removable lid

The lid can be removed for easier access to the bin. Follow the manual to release the soft-down hinges from their bracket pins and slide the lid free; reverse that procedure to reinstall it. Retain the installation document for future service and replacement-part identification.
