Montigo Divine 38-inch See-Through Natural Gas Fireplace H38FSDNI
The H38FSDNI is a traditional Divine see-through gas fireplace with a view into the firebox from two sides. Included and required
The burner’s traditional log package and liner are part of this listed appliance configuration. They are not additional mandatory purchases just because accessory choices are available. The IPI base builder system does not include a remote control. Installation still requires a complete manufacturer-approved vent system, the correct gas supply, applicable control/electrical provisions and a code-compliant enclosure. The installer must select the exact-model manual and verify all clearances and vent-route limits before construction.
Optional controls and accessories
The electronic-ignition accessories listed for this family include AF40BP battery backup, RX100NG wireless remote equipment, REC1550 wall remote and PF2RK remote-control kit. Match an upgrade to the supplied control revision. The HFK50R fan has a stated RX200 dependency and must not be treated as a standalone plug-in accessory. Optional controls must not be represented as included or as a required purchase to complete the standard fireplace.
The H38SFPSB satin-black and H38SFPSS stainless surrounds are optional listed finishes. The RBHL38S17R kit is an optional traditional-to-contemporary burner conversion for this size and fuel; it includes 9 pounds of Ice fireglass. This is a burner-style conversion, not authority to change the gas fuel. A qualified technician must install only the approved kit and its specified media layout.
Planning and documentation
Use the full model number when checking dimensional drawings, framing, vent terminations, gas requirements and replacement parts. Nominal fireplace size does not establish a rough opening. Do not transfer a corner or single-sided appliance’s framing or vent configuration to this see-through model. Installation and service must follow the correct Montigo manual and applicable codes.
Montigo exact-model equipment catalog, page 16, identifies H38FSDNI, fuel, input, supplied equipment and accessory choices. This archived source establishes the model package; its historical prices are not used as current selling prices. Obtain the installation document matching the supplied unit through Montigo’s manual library. Warranty coverage and service requirements must be checked against that appliance’s documentation.
