Overview

The Osburn Everest III (OB04017) is a large, high-efficiency, built-in wood fireplace for homeowners who want the atmosphere of a real wood fire with meaningful supplemental heat. Its double cast-iron framed glass doors offer a traditional look, while the non-catalytic combustion system and stainless-steel secondary-air design support clean, efficient operation. An optional firescreen allows the doors to be opened in installations that follow the manufacturer's instructions.

The Everest III has a 3.04-cu.-ft. firebox and a recommended heating area of 750–2,500 sq. ft. A 176-CFM blower is included. Finishing choices, approved chimney components and optional outside-air or heat-distribution equipment must be selected for the exact installation.

Check the Everest III installation manual and appliance certification label for framing, hearth protection, additional clearances, listed chimney parts and termination details. The manufacturer's mobile-home allowance is Canada-only and is not an authorization for U.S. installations.
