Components and installation

A matching front and the separate 6-inch fan-air duct must be supplied to complete the appliance. The outside-air connection also needs separate 6-inch duct. Both air systems require UL181 Class 0 or 1 rigid or flexible duct; fan-air return and outside-air supply are separate routes. Advanced Technology Product training is needed before shipment.

Venting

Use SL300 chimney or an approved 8-inch DuraPlus system with its base plate and DV-6DP-IS attic insulation shield. Venting Options below provide the SL300 route and remain optional for ordering. Complete the installation to the exact-model manual. Heat-Zone-WD-C uses separate 6-inch heat-distribution ducting.
