Documented compatibility

The Majestic Ruby installation manual lists this exact part for RUBY25IN, RUBY25IL, RUBY30IN, RUBY30IL, RUBY35IN and RUBY35IL inserts. Compatibility with another appliance must be established in that appliance’s documentation; this listing does not make the component universal.

Installation considerations

The Ruby family uses a vertical termination system and does not permit horizontal termination. Its stated vertical run range is 10–50 feet. Kit liner length is not a substitute for the appliance’s venting limits or a complete installation plan. The installer must verify the chimney, connections and termination arrangement.

The short-intake arrangement can be more susceptible to cold-air infiltration and negative pressure. The manufacturer advises considering a full-length intake depending on chimney cleanliness. Follow the applicable vent diagram.
