The HHT SLP12-BK is the black-painted version of the 12" (305 mm) SLP straight pipe section (4" inner / 6-5/8" outer direct vent), listed by HHT among its SLP Black Painted Components. Black pipe is typically chosen where the vent pipe is visible, such as on a stove. It is a venting component, not a fireplace.

Use it only where the appliance manual approves HHT SLP venting (for example Majestic Quartz IFT top-vent configurations or Jade 32/42). Lengths and vent-run rules follow the standard SLP12.

Installation and safety notes

Follow the appliance manual for vent length, rise/run limits, clearances to combustibles, firestops and supports. HHT warns not to mix pipe, fittings or joining methods from different manufacturers.

In power vent installations (PVLP-SLP, PVV-SLP, PVI-SLP-B) all outer pipe joints must be sealed with silicone or aluminum foil tape rated to at least 300°F.
