Product overview

The SL412 is a 12" straight chimney section for the HHT SL400 Series wood chimney, which has a 10" (254 mm) inside diameter. Majestic lists SL400 pipe for Canada only. It is a venting component, not a fireplace.

Verified fireplace compatibility: the Majestic Biltmore SB60 / SB80 installation manual lists the SL412 as the Canadian chimney section (US equivalent SL1112). In Canada the Biltmore also requires the SLA10 adapter and CAK5A chimney air kit, sold separately.

Installation and safety notes

SL400 is listed for Canada only. Biltmore SB60/SB80 limits (4013-300 p. 17): minimum straight height 18 ft, maximum height 90 ft, maximum 35 ft between stabilizers, maximum 6 ft unsupported between an offset and return and 6 ft unsupported above the roof. Offsets must not exceed 30°.

Use FS538 / FS540 ceiling firestops (17" x 17" and 17" x 26" openings), RF570 / RF571 roof flashings and the CAS10 attic shield kit required in Canada, as listed in the Biltmore manual.
