Choose your ignition. Millivolt uses a standing pilot and a low-voltage control circuit to operate the burner. Use only a remote or wall control approved for this exact model. Intermittent pilot ignition (IPI) uses electronic controls to light the pilot when the fireplace calls for heat. Controls and power requirements depend on the selected model; follow its owner manual.
