Part 36396 is the manufacturer-listed fuel-conversion kit for the millivolt Empire DVC20IN family identified below. It converts an eligible appliance from natural gas to propane. It is not a universal gas-fireplace conversion kit and does not convert the ignition system.

Exact application

Before ordering

Verify the complete appliance model, original gas type and control system on the rating plate. A kit for a different fireplace size, opposite conversion direction or different ignition system is not interchangeable. This part is needed only when making the listed fuel conversion; an appliance already configured for the installation’s gas supply does not require a conversion kit.

Installation and documentation

Conversion must be performed by a qualified service agency using the certified kit and its supplied instructions. Follow the appliance manual for gas connections, pressure verification and commissioning. Do not operate the fireplace on a gas type different from its approved configuration, and do not improvise or substitute conversion components.
