Included components
The factory burner and protective screens are part of the fireplace. Keep the required screens and glass deflectors installed as directed by the exact model manual.
Required components
Provide an approved gas connection, adequate combustion and ventilation air, required noncombustible finishing materials and the electrical supply specified for the selected control and lighting package. No chimney or exhaust vent is used. This is supplemental indoor heat, not primary whole-house heat.
Optional accessories
The manual lists decorative media as accessories and gives a burner-cover area of 2.25 square feet. A box of crushed glass covers one square foot; colors may be mixed and droplets may be mixed with crushed glass. Never place media on or next to the burner or above the burner-cover lip.
Optional decorative fronts: DF481VBL or DF482VBL. LS60SHF is the listed 22-piece log set. LK5 is an optional 120-volt lighting kit requiring its specified switch or rheostat. Use the exact model’s listed reflective or stainless liner and compatible control accessories.

Decorative fronts need the specified finish offset. Have installation and service performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.
Do not install these models in bedrooms or bathrooms. Maintain adequate combustion and ventilation air and keep fans from blowing into the flame. Do not place decorative material on or next to the burner; follow the placement, cleaning and annual inspection instructions.
