Empire Hearth 42" Black Porcelain Liner (Replaces DVP42LKR) DVP42NKR

Empire DVP42NKR Black Reflective Liner

DVP42NKR is the black reflective interior liner listed for the Empire DVCP42BP traditional clean-face direct-vent fireplace. It provides a model-specific interior finishing option while retaining the fireplace’s separate required log assembly.

Verified compatibility

The 32, 36 and 42 designations identify separate appliance families; they are not panel measurements and do not make the liners interchangeable. Match the exact fireplace rating-plate model before ordering. The compatibility established here is the DVCP42BP application in the linked manual; another model requires its own manufacturer listing.

What this selection requires

The fireplace and its approved ceramic-fiber logs are separate from this liner selection. Installing an optional liner does not replace the required logs, protective glass barrier or approved vent system. Select one compatible interior style, and install its panels and brackets exactly as directed by the liner instructions.

Installation and documentation

Turn off the appliance and allow it to cool before service. Access may require removal of the barrier, glass door and log set; a qualified installer must restore these parts correctly before operation. Follow the component instructions, the exact fireplace manual and applicable codes.

Empire DVCP42BP installation manual, page 9, identifies DVP42NKR and this finish as a compatible optional liner. Refer to the same manual for fireplace clearances, required logs and safe access.
