Product overview
The DVP-RVTK is a 5" x 8" DVP rear vent (horizontal) termination kit. Per its installation instructions it contains a termination cap, a 1" (square) firestop, an adjustable pipe, four #8 x 1" and four #8 x 3" screws. It is a venting kit, not a fireplace.
The instructions state the kit can only be used with Vermont Castings Group direct vent fireplaces; the DVP6 can be used alone where the adjustable pipe is too long.

Installation and safety notes
Overlap slip and vent sections at least 1-1/2"; horizontal runs need 1/4" rise per foot toward the termination; the embossed arrow on the cap must point up (VCG 20307393).
Frame 10" x 10" openings for ceilings and exterior walls and 10" x 12" for interior walls (VCG 20307393 p.8).
