Empire DFD20DBL Transom Door Front

DFD20DBL is the black transom door front listed for the Empire DVC20IN gas insert family.

Exact application

Required companion selection

This decorative front requires the appropriate manufacturer surround. It does not replace the required surround, venting system, glass enclosure or safety barrier. The front is a finishing selection; choosing a decorative front must not make an otherwise optional style mandatory for the appliance.

Ordering and installation

Check the complete appliance model and the selected surround before ordering. Parts for the DVC20IN, DVC26IN and DVC28IN families have separate model-specific part numbers and are not interchangeable merely because the styling matches. Follow the component instructions and the appliance installation manual; keep the insert ventilation openings clear.

The manufacturer permits only its approved surrounds, shrouds and decorative fronts to cover integral grilles of the original solid-fuel fireplace. Do not seal those openings with improvised sheet-metal panels. Installation must follow the manufacturer documentation and applicable codes.
